This Privacy Policy explains how MyPersonalities® ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the MyPersonalities® website, app, and suite of associated programs (collectively, "the Program").

By using the MyPersonalities® Program, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use the Program.

1. Who We Are

The MyPersonalities® Program is owned and operated by Persona Role Dynamics Pty Limited, based in Queensland, Australia. The Program was developed by Russell Kennard, research psychotherapist.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect two types of information: information you provide directly to us, and information collected automatically when you use the Program.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. This information is used to create and manage your account and to communicate with you about the Program.

Subscription and payment information. When you subscribe to the Program, payment is processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your credit card details, bank account information, or any financial data on our servers. All payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with their own privacy policy and security standards. We receive only confirmation of payment and basic transaction records.

Program content you create. The MyPersonalities® Program invites you to create, name, describe, and map your own personas. This content — including the names, colours, descriptions, and connections you assign to your personas — is stored securely and is accessible only to you. This content is never shared with third parties, used for advertising purposes, or made available to any other user.

We note that because your persona content is named and described entirely in your own private language, it is inherently personal and private. Without the context only you possess, this content is not meaningfully interpretable by anyone else.

Communications. If you contact us via email or through the contact form on our website, we collect the information you provide in that communication — including your name, email address, and the content of your message — in order to respond to your enquiry.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage data. When you use the Program, we may collect certain technical information automatically, including your device type, browser type, operating system, IP address, pages visited, time and date of visits, and time spent on pages. This information is used to monitor and improve the performance and security of the Program.

Cookies. We may use cookies — small data files stored on your device — to collect anonymous traffic data and to improve your experience of the Program. The information collected through cookies cannot be used to identify you individually. It is used solely to measure visitor numbers and assess how the Program is used in order to maintain its effectiveness. We do not collect cookie data for advertising or promotional purposes.

You can remove or block cookies through your browser settings. Please note that doing so may affect certain features of the Program.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:

To deliver the MyPersonalities® Program and its features to you
To process your subscription payments through Stripe
To send you essential account communications — including subscription confirmations, renewal notices, and important updates about the Program

To monitor and improve the security, performance, and functionality of the Program

We do not use your personal information for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose beyond those listed above.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your account information and program content are stored securely using Google Firebase — a cloud-based platform that employs industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security monitoring.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

In the unlikely event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities in accordance with our obligations under Australian privacy law.

5. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes.

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

Stripe Payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you subscribe to the Program, your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review Stripe's privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy.

Firebase (Google) Your account data and program content are stored on Google Firebase infrastructure. Google's data handling practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Firebase data is stored in accordance with Google's security standards.

Legal requirements. We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect the rights or safety of our users or the public, or respond to a lawful request from government or law enforcement authorities.

Business transfers. In the event that Jenarus Training & Development Pty Limited is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and provide a prominent notice on our website before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We will never sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access. You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you at any time.

Correction. You have the right to request that we correct any personal information we hold about you that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

Deletion. You have the right to request that we delete your account and all associated personal information. Please note that deleting your account will permanently remove all persona content, assessment results, and progress data you have created within the Program. This cannot be undone.

Withdrawal of consent. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Program until that date.

Opting out of communications. You may opt out of non-essential communications from us at any time by contacting us directly or using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you. Please note that we will continue to send you essential account communications — such as subscription renewal notices — regardless of your communication preferences.

We will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with our obligations under Australian privacy law.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as long as necessary to provide you with the Program. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days of receiving your request, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or accounting purposes.

Payment records and transaction histories are retained for a minimum of seven years in accordance with Australian taxation and financial record-keeping requirements.

8. Children and Minors

The MyPersonalities® Program is not designed for use by persons under the age of 18, or persons with a mental capacity below that of an 18-year-old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe that a minor has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove that information from our systems.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The MyPersonalities® Program may contain links to third-party websites or applications. These links may include affiliates of the Program. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or applications. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit through links in our Program.

10. Your Persona Data — A Special Note on Privacy

The content you create within the MyPersonalities® Program — your persona names, colours, descriptions, and maps — is entirely your own. It is stored securely, accessible only to you, and never shared with any other party.

Because this content is named and described in your own private language — words and associations that only you understand in their full context — it is inherently personal and private by design. In the unlikely event of a data breach, your persona content would not be meaningfully interpretable by anyone who does not have the personal context you alone possess.

We consider your persona content to be deeply personal information and treat it with the highest level of care and confidentiality.

11. Australian Privacy Law

We are committed to complying with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained within it. These principles govern how we collect, use, disclose, store, and provide access to personal information.

If you believe we have breached your privacy rights or have not handled your personal information in accordance with the APPs, you may:
